How to Make Nail Glue at Home?
Acrylic nails are a perfect way to hide those stubby, short nails. However, getting your fake nails done at a salon can work out to be quite expensive. Instead, you might as well as apply artificial nails at home. And, just to walk that extra mile of saving bucks, you can also make your very own nail glue at home. It is inexpensive and easy to prepare. This glue can be used not just for applying fake nails, but also for fixing splits and tears in your natural nails.
Things You Will Require
- Small container.
- PVA glue.
- Clear nail polish.
- Cotton swab.
Steps for Preparing Homemade Nail Glue
Follow these simple steps to make your very own nail glue:
1.In a small container, pour about a cup of PVA glue, also known as white glue. Before pouring, make sure that the small container is very clean. The white glue can be found in any craft or department stores.
2.To this white glue, add about half bottle of nice clear nail polish. The clear polish will help the glue to adhere smoothly to all of your natural nails.
3.Take a cotton swab and cut its end. Use that end of the swab that is free from cotton. This side of the swab can be used to mix the clear polish and the glue properly. On the other hand, if the cotton side of the swab is used, there is a possibility of glue sticking to your nails.
4.Once you are done preparing your glue, put on a little drop of glue on each of your natural nail. Put the fake nail over the glued- natural nails and hold it down for about a minutes.
5.For the glue to harden completely, it takes about 10 minutes.
It is fun to make nail glue at home and can be worth giving a shot.
